    Fabulous

We liked the friendly well trained staff in a superbly beautiful region of the Scottish Highlands.

The hotel's large selection of Scottish whisky is a wonderful showcase for the world famous drink. However, I feel the hotel greatly overcharges for them.

    Superb

Nice friendly hotel with a good mix of people running it. Bedroom excellent. Two of the three dining areas were busy and cosy.

    No real complaints.

The location of the hotel is outsanding...in a peaceful hamlet tucked away in the Highlands. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms had a charm you cannot find in newly contructed hotels. The Boat Hotel was one factor in making our trip to Scotland so wonderful

    Fabulous

The staff were lovely, couldn't do enough to help. We brought our 3 year old with us and for our arrival they put a extra bed in the room for her and at breakfast the waiter was very helpful. Would def be back.

The tv was too small, and the rooms could do with a facelift.

    Very good

    Friendly & helpful

Food a bit expensive and my lasagne was not great - too dry (and I'm known as a good cook myself so I know it could have been better). It's an old building but some parts were rather tired looking (stairs & our ensuite - room 115)

    Location

Food was overpriced and not fantastic (there's a great little bistro down the road though!). Room was very basic, tiny with small window, wouldn't suit anyone claustrophobic, although I'm sure they have better rooms at higher prices - we left it late booking so didn't have much choice. I'd recommend with reservations

    Very good

the location was first class, the food was very good. the room was clean and tidy and the staff efficent and friendly.

the bathroom was far to small for the room. and the bed very hard therefore extremely uncomfortable. also the tv in the room was a small portable it would hae been nice to view a larger tv maybe located on the wall. the wi-fi refused to connect.

    Good

The food in the restaurant was wonderful, the atmosphere was great

There was no four poster bed in my deluxe club room which had been shown in all the pictures upon booking. It was two single beds pushed together.

Friendly and attentive service. Good food. I had a Club Room which was very nice, though decor was very "traditional". My bathroom was lovely with a rolltop bath and seperate shower. I got a good rate so was very pleased with my stay.
