Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere
During my one-night stay, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. The room, while compact, was well-equipped and had a lovely bay window providing some charm. Dinner at the restaurant was a highlight with generous portions and delicious flavors. I suggest improving the coffee options in the room as the provided sachets didn't match the cozy vibe of the hotel.

We had a fantastic time at the nearby Boat of Garten Golf Course, which really lives up to its reputation with stunning views of the Cairngorms. Our teenagers loved the variety of outdoor activities offered at Craggan Outdoors. paintballing was definitely a highlight for them.
In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom could use some updating for families with children.

the staff were super friendly and helped us feel at home. loved the cozy feel of the inn, and our room was bright and comfy. breakfast had lots of options and came hot, which was great. the views of the train station and hills were a nice bonus. We really enjoyed our dinner. haggis pakoras were delish!
the shower had really low pressure and my black pudding was raw, which was kinda gross.

missingWrote a review on May 19poor heating
The general decor felt outdated and the carpets were noticeably worn, giving the impression it could use a refresh. Heating in the room was inadequate, leading to a chilly environment that detracted from comfort. Breakfast selections were lacking, particularly the absence of fresh coffee options despite a coffee machine present, which also seemed to be out of service. The quality of dinner varied significantly. one dish was enjoyable while another left much to be desired. the dining experience could use a solid upgrade in both food quality and attention from the bar staff.
